Matthew Reynolds

Matthew Reynolds is a Partner of the Australian law firm Thomson Geer and has over 20 years of legal experience. His skills centre on assisting clients with capital raising from early stage private equity through to initial public offerings, management buy-outs and buy-ins, and in mergers and acquisitions. He is a leader of Thomson Geer's Corporate and Commercial Law practice, which provides clients with access to high-level skills in areas that are stringently regulated and highly technical, working on the principles of close working relationships with clients and the essential need to meet specific commercial objectives.

Matthew has extensive industry experience in energy and resources, technology, infrastructure and institutional real estate sectors. He has undertaken a large number of complex projects in which the outcome for clients is critical to their future success. In particular Matthew provides legal advice on off shore capital investments from Asia into debt and equity investment for Australian resource and real estate investments.

Matthew holds a Bachelor of Political Science & Economics (Hons) from Harding University, a Bachelor of Laws from Bond University and is a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland. He is a member of the Queensland Law Society, Company Law Committee of the Queensland Law Society and a member of AMPLA – the Resources and Energy Law Association.
